Joyful Neighbor
Rachel lived below me and I heard joyous laughter and exuberance all the time. She was so gracious when my dance company had virtual rehearsals during covid and I was doing bouncy footwork right above her (so sorry!). At winter solstice time, she'd leave a sweet message at my door. I've had this one saved on my fridge for years: "To go in the dark with a light is to know the light. To know the dark, go dark. Go without sight and find that the dark, too, blooms and sings, and is traveled by dark feet and dark wings." —Amy
