What other events are planned?

Rachel's family is planning a celebration of life in her hometown of Vincennes, Indiana on Wednesday, October 15. To receive information about that, join Lotsa Helping Hands. This has been the central place for information, and you can find an archive there as well as receive future notifications to your inbox.

Additionally, there are plans developing for a party around Rachel's birthday in May. To receive information about that, join Lotsa Helping Hands.

Please know that Rachel’s family supports Rachel’s communities in other parts of the world in choosing to celebrate her life in whatever ways, times, and places that feel right to you.

Do I need to RSVP for the events in Minneapolis?

No. Please just come! Loved ones are welcome.

If you would like to sign up ahead of time for a speaking slot in Act 2, please do so on this FORM.

Time permitting, once everyone who has signed up has spoken, we’ll open the mic to anyone present.

How can I help?

If you want to donate towards the cost of food and supplies for the Minneapolis event, you can donate through VENMO to Miriam Must.

There are also a few spots for volunteers to help with setup and cleanup for Act 3 evening gathering. Sign up HERE.

What if it rains?

In the event of rain:

Act 1, the walk around Lake of the Isles will continue as planned, unless it there are thunderstorms or very heavy rain, in which case it will be canceled.

Act 2 will be moved to the A-Mill Artist Lofts, 315 SE Main St, Minneapolis. It will also be shifted back an hour, beginning at 2pm instead of 1pm.
